2022 Draft Value Based Off Jimmy Johnson Trade Chart.

The original NFL Draft value chart was created by Jimmy Johnson during his time with the Cowboys in the early 1990s. With the guidance of Gil Brandt, the Cowboys assigned numerical values to each draft pick as a way to evaluate the worth of picks for potential trades.

The draft value trade chart was created by giving the first pick in the draft the highest value at 3,000 points.

Each pick after that decreased in value, and at its core, Dallas operated with a competitive advantage until the rest of the NFL caught on.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the old-school Jimmy Johnson trade chart, here’s how the Eagles value charts out courtesy of Pro Football

The original chart allows for experts or casual fans to break down draft-day deals, with an understanding of how trades are constructed.

Because of the addition of compensatory picks and the impact they have on the value of other picks, the chart was updated by Rich Hill (Pats Pulpit)
in recent years to reflect their trade value Based on the Rich Hill chart, Philadelphia can get as high as pick No. 8 overall by simply trading the 15th pick and pick 51 in the second round.

The No. 15 pick, along with a third and fourth-round pick can get Philadelphia as high as No. 10 overall for trade as well.
