The Philadelphia Eagles will look to get back into the win column in the regular season finale against the New York Giants on Sunday after last week’s disappointing loss at home in Week 17 to the Arizona Cardinals.

The Eagles will not have wide receiver DeVonta Smith and cornerback Darius Slay for Sunday’s divisional contest. However, Philadelphia’s defense will get a much-needed reinforcement to the linebacker unit.

Eagles News: Cunningham Returns In Week 18

Eagles veteran linebacker Zach Cunningham didn’t have an injury designation on Friday’s injury report, which means he will play on Sunday. Cunningham was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday but was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and Friday.

Cunningham has missed the last three games due to a knee injury. The last time we saw the 29-year-old on the field was in Week 14 against the Cowboys, where he had nine combined tackles.

Without Cunningham on the field over the past three weeks, the Eagles have had to depend on the combination of Shaquille Leonard, Nicholas Morrow, and Ben VanSumeren.

Cunningham is ranked third on the Eagles in combined tackles (80) this season behind Morrow (84) and Reed Blankenship (108). The former second-round pick will help in stopping run and pass coverage.

This season, Cunningham has a 74.5% completion percentage allowed when targeted but has only allowed one touchdown. The Eagles will be looking for the veteran to keep Giants tight end Darren Waller in check and stop Saquon Barkley on the ground.

Cunningham will give the Eagles’ defense a huge boost, and bettors can do the same for their pockets on FanDuel Sportsbook. New customers can get $150 guaranteed for just betting $5 on Sunday’s regular-season finale. It doesn’t matter if Philadelphia wins or loses, even though fans want them to head into the playoffs on a high.
