Dwight Howard’s Team in Taiwan Involved in Wild Melee, Howard Among 12 Ejected!
Dwight Howard’s squad in Taiwan, the Taoyuan Leopards, were involved in a massive brawl following a player from the TaiwanBeer HeroBears getting elbowed in the face.
Leopards guard Chen Hsiao-jung and HeroBears guard Chiang Yu-an exchanged blows as players from both teams subsequently got involved.
According to Keoni Everington of the Taiwan News, Howard tried playing the role of peacemaker during the melee but found himself ejected from the contest along with 11 other players.
Despite his ejection, Howard finished his night with 28 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in his team’s 120-108 victory.
